  • Built in 1883 at Howard Shipyard, Jeffersonville, IN.
  • Launched, in 1883
  • Delivered to the Mississippi River Commission in 1883
  • Sunk in bend of Island 35, September 1894 and raised
  • Turned over to the US Army Engineers in 1906
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service as USED Towboat Minnetonka in 1906
  • Assigned to the US Army Engineers St. Louis District in 1906
  • Reassigned to the US Army Engineers Memphis District, date unknown
  • USED Minnetonka worked on the Mississippi River
  • Final Disposition, lost in ice near Memphis, TN. in January 1918
