  • Purchased by US Army Engineers in 1905
  • Christened, commissioned and placed in service in 1905 as USED Towboat Hyacinth
  • Assigned to the US Engineers New Orleans District
  • Rebuilt in 1923 with a new hull (119 x 23 x 5.3)
  • USED Hyacinth operated on the lower Mississippi River
  • Retired from US Army service, 1938 (off the listed by 1939)
