  • Launched in 1908
  • Delivered to the the US Army Engineers in 1909
  • Christened commissioned and placed in service as USED Snagboat R.C. McCalla in 1909
  • Assigned to the US Army Engineers Mobile District
  • R.C. McCalla worked to keep the Tombigbee and Black Warrior River open to navigation during her US Army career
  • Transferred to the US Army Engineers Tuscaloosa District, circa 1922
  • Retired from US Army service, date unknown
  • Sold at public sale in September 1950 to J.F. Fritzel
  • Final Disposition, dismantled in 1952
