1 January 1987 - The guided missile-cruiser USS Jouett (CG 29), after topping off its fuel supply from the USS Wichita (AOR 1), moves out smartly off the coast of southern California. (This photo was dated 1997 but shince the Jouett was decommissioned in 1994 I am asuming that it is actually 1987.)
