  • 04 August 1943: Keel laid by the Bethlehem Hingham Shipyard, Hingham, Mass.
  • 23 October 1943: Launched
  • 14 December 1943: Transferred to Great Britain as Lend-Lease, commissioned as HMS Riou (K.557)
  • 25 February 1946: Returned to U.S. Navy custody
  • 28 March 1946: Struck from the NVR
  • 21 April 1947: Sold for scrapping
