  • Converted by Bethlehem Steel at Sparrows Point, MD.

  • MV PFC James Anderson Jr. (AK-3002) is one of the Military Sealift Command's seventeen Container & Roll-on/Roll-off Ships and is part of the 33 ships in the Prepositioning Program.
  • MV PFC James Anderson Jr. (AK-3002) is assigned to Maritime Prepositioning Ship Squadron Three. She carries equipment to support a US Marine Corps Expeditionary Brigade
