  • Reclassified Net Laying Ship (AN-75), 17 January 1944

  • Delivered to the Navy, 3 June 1944
  • Transferred under Lend Lease to the United Kingdom 3 June 1944
  • Commissioned HMS Prefect
  • Custody returned to the US Navy, 28 December 1945, at Norfolk, VA.
