  • Laid down, 13 March 1943, as Maritime Commission type (T2-SE-A1) tanker hull under Maritime Commission contract (MC hull 362) at Sun Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co., Chester, PA.
  • Launched, 29 June 1943
  • Delivered to her operator the Keystone Co., 12 July 1943
  • Sold for commercial service, 29 May 1947, to Petrol Tanker's Inc., Norfolk, VA.
  • Returned to the Maritime Commission for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, 16 December 1954
  • Reactivated by the Maritime Administration (MARAD), 3 October 1956
  • Custody to the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS), placed in service, 22 December 1956, as USNS Bull Run (T-AO-156)
  • Placed out of service and Struck from the Naval Register, 23 September 1957, returned to MARAD for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Olympia, WA. Group
  • Withdrawn from the Reserve Fleet, 25 April 1969, (Exchange Program), title to Sea-land Service, Inc. for conversion to a containership
    As part of her conversion to a containership her forepart was replaced with the former C-4 hull vessel SS Mobile, ex SS Marine Panther forward section.
  • Sold to Litton Industries Leasing Corp., 15 December 1969, renamed SS Anchorage
  • Sold to Reynolds Leasing Corp., 28 February 1975
  • Sold foreign in 1975, renamed SS Rose City, later resold and renamed SS Arecibo
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 23 April 1981
