ATR-1 Class Rescue Tug:
  • Laid down, 5 March 1943, at Bellingham Iron Works Inc., Bellingham, WA.
  • Launched, 26 September 1943
  • Commissioned USS ATR-68, 15 May 1944
  • Decommissioned, date unknown
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 20 March 1946
  • Sold in 1948 to British Columbia Packers Inc., Vancouver, B.C., named Towmac
  • She was used for whaling in 1950, towing whale carcasses into the whaling station at Coal Harbour on the west coast of Vancouver, B.C.
  • Resold in 1953 to Pacific Salvage Ltd. Vancouver, B,C,. renamed Salvor
  • Final Disposition, broken up in 1961 by Capital Iron & Metals Ltd., Victoria BC and the hull was towed to the Royston BC breakwater.
