  • Completed in 1918 as the Emergency Fleet Corporation design 1047 tanker W. M. Irish for Atlantic Refining Co., by Bethlehem Steel Shipbuilding Co., Alameda, CA.
  • Assigned Registry Number (ID-2690) by US Navy
  • Transferred Lend Lease to the Soviet Union, 23 May 1943 where she served as SS Moskva
  • Returned to the War Shipping Administration, 28 October1944
  • Renamed Nausett 29 October 1944
  • Accepted by the Navy and Commissioned, 8 January 1945, at Pearl Harbor, T.H.
  • During World War II USS Nausett was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater
  • Decommissioned at San Francisco, CA., 12 October 1945
  • Delivered to the Maritime Commission at the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Suisun Bay, Benecia, CA.
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 24 October 1945
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping to American Iron & Steel Co., Emeryville, CA. for $7,217.60 (PD-X-114), delivered, 27 November 1946
