  • Laid down, 31 July 1943 as Don Marquis, a Maritime Commission type (EC2-S-C1) hull, under a Maritime Commission contract at California Shipbuilding Building Corp, Los Angeles, CA.
  • Launched 23 August 1943
  • Delivered the Maritime Commission, 11 September 1944
  • Damaged in a collision in 1944
  • Acquired by the US Navy, 31 May 1945
  • Placed in service as Don Marquis (IX-215), 31 May 1945
  • Placed out of service, date unknown, at Seeadler Harbor Anchorage, Manus Admiralty Islands
  • Custody returned to the War Shipping Administration, 28 November 1945
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 5 June 1946
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 19 October 1948, to the Far Eastern Panamanian Navigation Co., Shanghai, China for $40,000
