  • Acquired by the US Navy, 22 February 1947, at NOB Subic Bay, Philippine Islands
  • Commissioned, Miscellaneous Auxiliary, USS Whidbey (AG-141), 8 August 1947, at NOB Guam, Marianas, Chief Boatswain J. W. Jamieson in command
  • USS Whidbey was assigned to China service in the Far East for the following periods:

  • Decommissioned, 16 November 1964, at Astoria, OR.

  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 31 May 1969, to Albert Heller.
