  • Time chartered from the Connecticut National Bank, 22 August 1983, by the US Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration
  • Renamed MV Cape Orlando, 12 July 1993
  • Assigned to MARAD National Defense Reserve Fleet, Ready Reserve Force, (RRF), 12 September 1994, as MV Cape Orlando (AKR-2044)
  • MV Cape Orlando (AKR-2044) is one of the Military Sealift Command's (MSC) 31 Roll-on/Roll-off ships and one of the 63 ships of the Sealift Program Office.
