  • Reclassified APL-19, 07 January 1944
  • Laid down, 21 June 1944
  • Launched, 06 August 1944
  • Delivered and placed in service, 14 October 1944
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 26 October 1993
  • Reinstated as IX-520, 16 August 1996
  • IX-520 was part of the CincLantFlt Berthing and Messing Program and was berthed at Norfolk Navy Yard, Portsmouth, VA.
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register, 13 March 2001
  • Final Disposition, disposed of as a target in fleet training exercise east of Norfolk, VA (37° 06.3'N, 71°. 02.5'W in 7,188 feet of water), 13 June 2002
