  • Commissioned in August 1863, Acting Master William Tell Street in command.
  • During the Civil War USS Fuchsia was assigned to the Potomac Flotilla
  • Together with USS Currituck apprehended the steamer SS Three Brothers, 21 October 1863
  • Decommissioned, at Washington, 5 August 1865
  • Sold, 23 September 1865
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
