Iron-clad Ram Frigate:
  • Laid down under US Navy contract, date unknown, at W.H. Webb and Aetna Iron Works, New York, N.Y.
  • Launched, 22 July 1865
  • Never commissioned , and in 1867, in accordance with the Navy's policy to reduce its number of vessels, was returned to her builder
  • She was sold by W. H. Webb to France in whose navy she rendered notable service under the name Rochambeau.
