Assigned to blockading duty off East Pass, St. George's Sound, FL.

Reassigned to the East Gulf Blockading Squadron, after refit at Boston, off the mouth o the Suwannee River, 28 December 1863
Rammed and sank blockade runner, schooner Wild Pigeon off Key West, 21 March 1864
Participated in an Army expedition in the vicinity of St. Marks, FL., 27 February to 7 March 1865
Decommissioned, 8 August 1865, at Philadelphia, PA.
Sold, 12 September 1865, and re-documented SS Hendrick Hudson
