  • Readied for sea at New York, USS Dolphin, LT. D. Conner in command
  • Assigned to the newly organized two ship Pacific Squadron along with USS Franklin sailed 8 December 1821, for her new assignment
  • Dolphin cruised the west coast of South America protecting American commerce and the whaling industry
  • Searched for mutineers of the American whaler Globe between 18 August 1825 and 24 August 1826
  • Dolphin serviced in the Pacific until 2 December 1835 at which time she was sold
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
