Readied for sea at New York, USS Dolphin, LT. D. Conner in command
Assigned to the newly organized two ship Pacific Squadron along with USS Franklin sailed 8 December 1821, for her new assignment
Dolphin cruised the west coast of South America protecting American commerce and the whaling industry
Searched for mutineers of the American whaler Globe between 18 August 1825 and 24 August 1826
Dolphin serviced in the Pacific until 2 December 1835 at which time she was sold
Final Disposition, fate unknown
