  • CSS Isondiga, a small wooden gunboat, operated in waters around Savannah, GA., and in St. Augustine Creek, FL., from April 1863 to December 1864,
  • Isondiga accompanied ironclad ram CSS Atlanta in the engagement in which Atlantawas captured by USS Weehawken 17 June 1863.
  • Isondiga escaped from Savannah, 21 December 1864, before the city fell to the forces of Gen. W. T. Sherman
  • Later burned by her commanding officer and crew to prevent seizure by Union forces.
