  • During World War II LCT-743 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater LCT Flotilla 24, Group 71, LCDR. F. Carmondy, in command, at New Guinea, the Philippines and Okinawa
  • Place out of service (date unknown)
  • Redesignated Landing Ship Utility, LSU-743 in 1949
  • Redesignated Landing Craft Utility LCU-743, 15 April 1952
  • Reclassified as a Harbor Utility Craft (YFU-52), 18 Mary 1956
  • YFU-52 saw service in Vietnam during the Vietnam War
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping 1 November 1972 by the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service
