  • Placed in reduced commission, 15 June 1945, as USS Quirinus for transit to Bethlehem Steel Co., Key Highway Plant, Baltimore, MD. for decommissioning and conversion to an Landing Craft Repair Ship
  • Recommissioned USS Quirinus (ARL-39), 6 November 1945, LCDR. John B. Darrow in command
  • Decommissioned, 27 March 1947
  • Laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Green Cove Springs, FL.
  • Loaned to Venezuela in 1962 under the Military Assistance Program, renamed Guayana (T-18)
  • Sold to Venezuela, under the Security Assistance Program, 2 December 1977
