Auk Class Minesweeper: Laid down 16 May 1944 by American Shipbuilding Co., Lorain Ohio; Launched 16 December 1944; Commissioned USS Tercel (AM-386), 21 August 1945; Placed Out-of-Commission-in-Reserve 10 November 1954 at Orange Tx; Laid up in the Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Orange Group; Redesignated Fleet Minesweeper (MSF-386), 7 February 1955; Struck from the Naval Register 1 July 1972; Final Disposition, sold for scrapping.
Specifications: Displacement 890 t.; Length 221' 3"; Beam 32'; Draft 10' 9"; Speed 18 kts; Complement 105; Armament 1 single 3"/50 gun mount , 2 40mm guns, 2 20mm guns.
