AMS-94 served the Navies of France and Uruguay.
Adjutant Class Motor Minesweeper: Laid down as AMS-94 by the National Steel and Shipbuilding Co., San Diego, CA; Launched in 1953; Completed 5 March 1954 and transferred to France as Marguerite (M 686); Commissioned 17 September 1954; Reclassified by U.S. Navy as a Coastal Minesweeper, MSC-94, 7 February 1955; Decommissioned 1 December 1968; Returned to U.S. custody 10 November 1969 and transferred to Uruguay as Rio Negro
(MS 131). Fate unknown.
Specifications: Displacement 405 t.; Length 144'; Beam 27'; Draft 9'; Speed 14 kts; Complement 40; Armament, two twin 20-mm; Propulsion General Motors diesels, two shafts.
