PC-461 Class Submarine Chaser/PGM-9 Class Motor Gunboat: Laid down, 13 February 1944 by the Consolidated Shipbuilding Corp., New York, NY as PC-1550; Launched, 11 April 1944; Reclassified as a Motor Gunboat, PGM-19, 16 August 1944; Commissioned USS PGM-19, 1 December 1944. Assigned to the Asiatic Pacific theater and took part in the following operations: Assault and occupation of Okinawa Gunto, 16 - 31 May 1945; Third Fleet operations against Japan, 5 - 31 July 1945; Mine Sweeping operations at "Skagway," (East China Sea/Ryukyus Area), 16 - 31 May 1945; and Sasebo, Japan, 9 - 30 September 1945; and Asian occupation service, 2 September - 19 October 1945, and 24 - 28 February 1946. Transferred to the Foreign Liquidation Commission, 16 June 1949. Fate unknown.
