PGM-67


PGM-67 was built for South Vietnam.

PGM-59 Class Motor Gunboat:

  • Laid down in 1962 as PGM-67 by Marinette Marine, Manitowoc, WI
  • Transferred to South Vietnam in February 1963 and named Kien Vang (HQ 603)
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 122 t.
  • Length 100' 4"
  • Beam 21' 1"
  • Draft 8' 6"
  • Speed 17 kts.
  • Armament: One 40mm mount, two 20mm mounts and one 81mm mortar
  • Propulsion: Two 1,100hp Mercedes Benz 12V493 TY57 diesel engines, two shaft.
