PGM-122 was built for Iran

PGM-71 Class Motor Gunboat:

  • Built as PGM-122 by Peterson Builders, Sturgeon Bay, WI
  • Delivered 19 August 1970, transferred to Iran and named IIN Nahid (PGM 213)
  • Fate unknown.

    Specifications:

  • Displacement 130 t.
  • Length 101'
  • Beam 22'
  • Draft 6' 8"
  • Speed 18 kts.
  • Complement 16
  • Armament: One 40mm mount, one 20mm mount and three 12.7mm machine guns
  • Propulsion: Eight 250bhp General Motors 6-71 diesel engines, two shafts.
