  • Nolomis was present at Pearl Harbor, 7 December 1941
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Large, YTB-142, 15 May 1944
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium, YTM-142, in February 1962
  • Placed out of service and struck from the Naval Register, circa 1971
  • Final Disposition, disposed of, sold by Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS), 1 September 1974, to Crowley Tug Company, renamed Sea Dragon, operated in San Francisco Bay until 1994
  • Acquired for restoration by Historic Tugboat Education and Restoration Society in 2002
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping in July 2010 to Bay Ship & Yacht, Alameda, CA.
  • Nokomis earned one battle star for World War II service.
