  • Laid down as YT-371 in 1943 at Gulfport Boiler & Welding Works, Inc., Port Arthur, TX.
  • Launched, 1 April 1944
  • Placed in service circa as Smohalla (YT-371) at Port Arthur, TX., April-May 1944
  • Redesignated Harbor Tug, Large YTB-371, 15 May 1944
  • Allocated to CINCPAC Ocean Area in June 1944
  • Reallocated to the 14th Naval District at Pearl Harbor, T.H.
  • Placed out of service in October 1946 and laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet, San Diego Group
  • Withdrawn from Reserve and reactivated at San Diego in July 1953
  • Assigned to Commander, Naval Forces, Far East, at Yokosuka, Japan.
  • Reclassified District Harbor Tug, Medium YTM-371 in February 1962
  • Placed out of service, date unknown
  • Struck from the Naval Register, date unknown
  • Final Disposition, sold by the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) for scrapping. 1 June 1976
