  • Built by Supple & Martin, Portland, OR
  • Launched, 07 November 1927
  • Placed in service as Multnomah (ON 227124) on Willamette River at St. Johns Ferry, OR, 26 December 1927
  • Rendered redundant by opening of St. Johns Bridge, 1931
  • Sold to Young Brothers, Ltd., Honolulu, HI, renamed Manuwai
  • Towed to Hawaii by tug Mamo, April 1933
  • Purchased by the Navy from Young Bros., July 1940
  • Allocated to the 14th Naval District at Pearl Harbor
  • Placed in service as Manuwai (YFB-16) providing ferry service between NAS Ford Island and Naval Base Pearl Harbor
  • Manuwai was present at Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941
  • Placed out of service in reserve, 28 February 1949
  • Laid up in the Pacific Reserve Fleet, Pearl Harbor Group in dry storage on the deck of the Aircraft Transport Lighter YCV-12
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 17 September 1954
  • Final Disposition, fate unknown
  • Manuwai earned one battle star for World War II service
