  • 11 August 1943: Keel laid by the Bethlehem Hingham Shipyard, Hingham, Mass.

  • 20 December 1943: Transferred to Great Britain as Lend-Lease, commissioned as HMS Cosby (K.559)
  • 04 March 1946: Returned to U.S. Navy custody
  • 13 November 1946: Struck from the NVR
  • 05 November 1946: Sold for scrapping
