  • Laid down, 5 July 1956, as a Maritime Administration type (C1-ME2-13a) hull, under Maritime Administration contract (MA hull 47), at Avondale Marine Ways, Inc., Avondale, LA.
  • Launched, 5 August 1957
  • Acquired by the Navy and placed in service by the Military Transportation Service (MSTS) as USNS Mirfak (T-AK-271), date unknown
  • Placed out of service, date unknown
  • Transferred, 11 December 1979, to the Maritime Administration (MARAD) for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, James River, Lee Hall, VA.
  • Title transferred to MARAD 1 January 1995
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 17 July 2003, to Marine Metals, Brownsville, TX.
