|59k||Ex-USS Spiegel Grove (LSD-32) sunk with her bow out of the water. It would take several weeks to completely sink her. She was laying on her side instead of on her flat bottom as planned.
UPDATE - As a result of Hurricane Dennis in July 2005, ex-Spiegel Grove now lays with her keel flat on the ocean floor.
