  • Launched, 17January 1957
  • Placed in service by the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS) as USNS Shoshone (T-AO-151)
  • Operated for MSTS by Marine Transport Lines under a long-term consecutive-voyage charter
  • Reclassified Transport Oiler T-AOT-151 (date unknown}
  • Placed out of service (date unknown)
  • Struck from the Naval Register (date unknown)
  • Title transferred to the Maritime Administration, 1 October 1994, for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet, Suisun Bay, Benecia, CA.
  • Reacquired, 11 May 2002, for further transfer to the Office of Naval Research, fate unknown
