Maumee Class Fleet Oiler:
  • Laid down, 16 May 1957 as Yukon, a Maritime Administration type (T3-S-12a) tanker hull, under Maritime Administration contract (MA hull 41) at Ingalls Shipbuilding Corp, Pascagoula, MS.
  • Launched, 16 March 1956
  • Placed in service by the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS) as USNS Yukon (T-AO-152)
  • Operated for MSTS by Marine Transport Lines under a long-term consecutive-voyage charter
  • Redesignated Transport Oiler (T-AOT-152), date unknown
  • Placed out of service and laid up as part of the Navy's Ready Reserve Force (RRF), 20 October 1985
  • Struck from the Naval Register, 13 April 1992
  • Custody transferred to the Maritime Administration (MARAD) for lay up in the National Defense Reserve Fleet
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 18 September 1995, by the (DRMS) Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service
