  • Laid down, 1 October 1973, at Todd Shipyards, San Pedro, CA.
  • Launched, 1 April 1974
  • Delivered to Marine Transport Lines for long term charter to the Military Sealift Command (MSC), 9 May 1975 and placed in service as USNS Sealift China Sea (T-AO-170)
  • Reclassified Transport Oiler, T-AOT-170, date unknown
  • Placed out of service, struck from the Naval Register and sold for commercial service, 18 April 1995, to Unideal Navitankers Management, Athens, Greece, renamed MT Sant Ambrogio, re-flagged Panamanian
  • Final Disposition, scrapped in March 2000
