  • Laid down, 1 April 1973, at Bath Iron Works, Bath, ME.
  • Launched, 1 January 1974
  • Delivered to Marine Transport Lines for long term charter to the Military Sealift Command (MSC), 26 August 1974 and placed in service as USNS Sealift Atlantic (T-AO-172)
  • Reclassified Transport Oiler, T-AOT-172, date unknown
  • Placed out of service, struck from the Naval Register and sold for commercial service, 4 April 1995, Unideal Navitankers Management, Athens, Greece, renamed MT Mavra, re-flagged Panamanian
  • Final Disposition, scrapped in July 2000
