Yukon refueled and transited in company with six ships from three different countries. The ships refueled by Yukon** were the Canadian ship HMCS Protecteur, enroute to the Persian Gulf; the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) ships JDS Hamagiri, JDS Kirishima and JDS Murasame, enroute to San Diego where they remained for a few days before returning to Hawaii for RIMPAC; and the Korean ships ROKS Wonju and ROKS Yang Man Choon, which were refueled by *Yukon* after a transit directly from Korea Photo by Sgt.
