    Emory S Land 102k USS Emory S. Land (AS-39) with the help of tugboats, is maneuvered into position alongside the command ship, USS La Salle (AGF 3), at Gaeta. Italy, 18 February 2004, in preparation for a scheduled availability period. As a repair ship, USS Emory S. Land often deploys to Gaeta, Italy on a regular basis to provide repairs for the USS La Salle.
