    52k R/V Knorr (AGOR-15) sails past a spectacular sunset near the equator on the western Atlantic Ocean in May 2013. The ship will sail into the sunset at the end of 2014, retiring after a 44-year career. R/V Neil Armstrong is scheduled to replace Knorr in 2015.
