  • Laid down 17 December 1942 as PC-1388 at Robert Jacob Inc., City Island, NY
  • Reclassified PCS-1388 in April 1943
  • Launched 17 July 1943
  • Commissioned USS PCS-1388, 11 December 1943
  • Reclassified as a Hydrographic Survey Ship, AGS-7, 28 February 1945
  • Named Littlehales, 24 March 1945
  • Reclassified as a Coastal Survey Ship, AGSC-7 in July 1946
  • Decommissioned 12 October 1949
  • Sold 24 January 1950 to Haylow Fisheries Inc. of Reedville, VA, converted to a menhaden fisherman and renamed John - O
  • Acquired in 1972 by Haynie Products, Inc. of Moss Point, MS
  • Acquired in 1975 by the Atlantic Towing Corp. of Norfolk, VA and renamed Atlantic I
  • Out of documentation in 1976
  • Fate unknown.
