American Osprey Class Tanker:
  • Built, date unknown, as ST Spirit of Liberty by Bethlehem Steel Sparrows Point Yard, Baltimore, MD
  • Completed and delivered, 1 October 1968, to Keystone Tankers for charter to the US Navy, Military Sea Transportation Service
  • Purchased by the US Navy in May 1987 for the Maritime Administrationís Ready Reserve Force (RRF) renamed Mission Buenaventura (AOT-1012)
  • Downgraded from the RRF, 31 July 31, 2004
  • Designated for disposal in 2006.
  • Final Disposition, sold for scrapping, 1 October 2012, for $848,472, to All Star Metals, Brownsville, TX., removed 17 October 2012
