3 July 2000 -- CH-46 "Sea Knight" helicopter circles the Ticonderoga Class Aegis Cruiser USS Hue City (CG 66) as it moves up the Hudson river as it arrives in New York to participate in International Navy Review 2000 (INR 2000). President Clinton reviewed all warships participating in the event from the Hue City. INR 2000 is the Navy's congressionally mandated observance of the millennial year and recognition of the Nation's 224th birthday. Over 25,000 sailors and marines from 20 countries will enjoy this week long "Celebration of Seapower for the Millennium".

4 July 2000 --The Aegis Cruiser USS Hue City (CG 66) departs it's berth to begin the pass-in-review and parade of sail events during International Naval Review 2000 (INR 2000). President Bill Clinton is on board the ship to review the international warships visiting New York for INR 2000. INR 2000 is the Navy's congressionally mandated observance of the millennial year and recognition of the Nation's 224th birthday. Over 25,000 sailors and marines from 20 countries will enjoy this week long "Celebration of Seapower for the Millennium."

Atlantic Ocean, 16 August 2002 - Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) performs a fly over in formation along with USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67), USS Hue City (CG 66), USS Vicksburg (CG 69) and USS Sullivans (DDG 68) to conclude an air show performance for over 1400 “Tigers” aboard the aircraft carrier. Kennedy and CVW-7 are returning home after completing a six month long deployment conducting combat missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

14 July 2005. Gunners Mate Second Class (GM2) Charles Coleman, inspects missile cell hatches on one of two Vertical Launching Systems (VLS) aboard the Ticonderoga Class Guided Missile Cruiser USS Hue City (CG 66). The VLS is capable of launching numerous missiles including the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile and RIM-67 SM-2 Standard Missile. Hue City is currently in a yard period at Naval Station Mayport, Florida.

ATLANTIC OCEAN, 6 April 2007 - Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Hue City (CG 66) leads Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79) as the two ships follow in formation behind Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Truman is underway conducting Tailored Ship's Training Availability (TSTA), a standard used to evaluate a ship's readiness for deployment.
